RE: [epilepsy] Constipation a side effect?

Absolutely is a side effect. There is a huge connection between the "Gut &
Brain" too. One of the colon's function is to "recycle" water from waste
when the body is low on hydration. The less hydrated we are the drier the
stool ... and the harder it is for waste to "slip" out. 2 years ago next
month a friend offered us Kangen Water to try and help our daughter. It
deeply hydrates due to being "Reduced" in size molecularly. It is also very
high in antioxidants which help the immune system and brain. The water is
very good at detoxifying too, another good thing for the brain and organs
for us taking many meds.
Proper hydration also allows the body to better absorb the meds. If
intestines are clogged they can not properly absorb nutrients and minerals
from the food we as well either that are needed for the healthy function of
the brain. Too much to type here about this. Email me direct for more info
and documentation. After 4 years of intense meds controlling SZ's down to
about 40-50 grand mals a month, once our child began to drink the water,
acid reflux stopped, constipation stopped, SZ's dropped by about 50% and
meds were reduced accordingly. Her behavior and speaking improved. We wish
they stopped altogether but they dropped from about 45 a month to 16 to 23 a
month. Just by increasing her water intake with good water. This brought
about a huge increase in the quality of her life... and ours. Acidic foods
and beverages are also very bad. Oxidative Stress plays a big role in
Epilepsy & Autism. Heres a short shocking video: www.KangenDemo.com

I have studied molecular hydration for 2 years now and suggest everyone read
the E book available in the link below. According to all medical groups
people should drink a minimum of half their body weight in ounces daily of
water to Maintain health. More if you need to improve your health. That does
not include coffee or teas which deplete body hydration! Your body is about
70% water, your brain over 80%. Let me say that again... your brain is over
80% water! Water is critical to body health and brain function. Water
conducts electricity and helps keep mitochondria healthy. Get the free

I was wondering if anyone has had trouble with constipation as a side effect
of
their meds. It's kinda embarrassing to talk about, but I think that seems to
be
the case with me. I didn't think about bringing it up at my last appointment

with my epileptologist, but I didn't think it was that necessary to mention
anyway. Should I call the doctor and mention it? Do some of the meds have
constipation as a side effect? I take Keppra and Lamictal, FYI.
