Marinated Tuna Steaks with Cucumber Sauce - 3g Carbs, 0g Fiber, 2g Sugar

Vitamin D
A recent NPD study ranks Vitamin D in the top ten of ingredients we're
trying to get more of. Why? It's either the link between vitamin D and
bone health, or the connection between vitamin D and calcium absorption.
Either way, that's good news for out bones. To consume more vitamin D –
choose foods fortified with vitamin D – such as low fat or fat free milk
and Yogurt, or vitamin D fortified orange juice. Also look for recipes
that contain 20% DV of vitamin D or more per serving. This delicious tuna
steak recipe gives you 50% of the vitamin D you need for the day!

Servings: 4

--> Tuna
3 Tbsp lime juice
2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/4 tsp salt
1 lb tuna steaks

--> Sauce
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
1/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt
2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
1 Tbsp reduced-fat mayonnaise or salad dressing

1. In shallow glass dish or pie plate, mix lime juice, 2 tablespoons
cilantro, the garlic and salt. Cut fish steaks into 4 serving pieces.
Add fish to lime mixture, turning several times to coat. Cover;
refrigerate 1 hour, turning once, to marinate.

2. Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix all sauce ingredients; refrigerate.

3. Set oven control to broil. Spray broiler pan rack with cooking spray.
Remove fish from marinade; discard marinade. Place fish on rack in broiler
pan. Broil with tops 4 inches from heat 7 to 10 minutes, turning once,
until fish flakes easily with fork. Serve with sauce.
