I use to be on a pile of meds and some with different names yet doing same thing. Nothing short but
overdosing me at times. I was on Phenobarbital at the very beginning as it is an old drug, but none of the
others you are on so guess not much of a help there. All I can say is what works for you with identical
seizure type may not work for me as with all people. Depends on the strength you are on too, something to
take into consideration. What I would do as your Dr. suggests doing some research, is to go to a place
possibly like www.medlineplus.gov and check out each of the meds. There they have a good place where they
list all the possible side effects. Should you already be on one that say makes you sleepy, and a new one
will make extra sleepy on top of being sleepy from a seizure, that is all you need (3x and out) :)smile:) I
always check it out first and see if I think I could handle or if it is going to last too long then it is time
to call your Dr. and get off one of them as they may be clashing with each other.
