Carol, I am so sorry for your loss. I think you expressed it so well in your subject line. Sometimes losing an animal that is just a pet feels like you have lost your best friend, so I can imagine that this is even a greater loss for you. You won't ever be able to replace Nate, but in time I hope you will find another seizure alert dog who can become your new best friend.
