RE: [fast5] Re: New with a question

I think I will just buy the book.

And maybe down the road an earlier window my work better for me, but first I need to get used to the 19 + hours of fasting.

I too eat a lot of chicken.  In fact yesterday, I broke fast with a bit of chicken, not even a whole piece,  then I am fine and get to work cooking a meal, maybe I should just eat the whole piece and eat more later.

I too don’t really care for cold water either, but I froze ½ of a bottle and then added water and I am keeping it in the fridge, it does seem to help.

I also have stomach and digestive issues they are calling IBS so I am hoping this helps.  Truthfully, I am less hungry than more stomach pain.  But even that is getting better, less stomach pain every day.

Hi Laura,

The key for me is eating a lot of protein (usually chicken)during my window and drinking lots of water during the day. I drink a large glass of room-temperature to moderately cold water (I can't drink cold water!) every 1 - 1 1/2 hours and a large mug of chamomile tea before bed.

I would recommend getting the book. It was very helpful for me. If you have access to a printer you can print out the book (double-sided) and it won't use up much paper. :)

Good luck with your fasting journey!

Blessings,
Carol
