AND Teddy? Many folks were conceived by his music..they portrayed a sprinkle of him too. When did Isaac Hayes die? Last year? After the awards? Didn't mention him either...just tired of the ratings mill. The babies shouldn't have to Google an AA artist PERIOD! They can't even the REAL Deal on Tupac...our music is so much deeper than The BET show! Can we say Prince's lyrics? I loved Rainbow Children..Last December, Family's Name (I think that's the correct title). Got to listen, read his lyrics to understand the message. If the babies can recite a rap verbatim then they can challenged to read some old skool funk...can we say Musicology?

Also, what about the living? Chuck Berry, B.B. King & others? NOTHING!
These music "business" folks can't understand. They're caught up in ratings & money so much, that these young people know ZERO of what REAL music is. Ain't it funny how record sales are continuing 2 drop? They claim it's the economy. But why is it that the movie industry is rebounding & profiting quite nicely? I agree with Prince. Music IS safe......as long as HE'S around! Because if he retires in this shape of music, GOD help us ALL!!!
