lol

Those 3 had people dressing like them as far as I can remember, especially in the 80's and 90's

The showmanship

I remember a few years ago, an MTV awards show

Madonna was presenting an award or something
I don't know if she arranged it or if MTV did
But before she came out from her 1st album to her last at that time
a drag queen came out to a song from each album dresses as she did for that album so there were over 20 lined up before she walked out
Madonna walks out to applause slapping hands with the crowd
examines the queens and then says "It takes a real man to walk in my shoes" I loved it

I have to agree.
Three different icons...used sex in some form, added mystery, and the audacity to survive through the metamorphosis of time. Can we say fashion statements? I rocked alot of lace, spandex, and black because of them.

U are so right, fam. In a lot of ways, although not in all ways, those
GREAT artists controlled the media & not the other way around. In other
words, they did things their way in regards 2 their face time, per4mance
time & interviewing time. The media tried so hard 2 break them down &
tear down their walls. But if it happened, it was on Prince, M.J. or
Madonna's terms. That's SUPER rare.

Madonna, Prince and MJ all were on the cutting edge with some music and
lyrical content and now they can just sit back and write at will what
they want to express about what they've learned over the years and what
they experience over the years AND who they've experienced it "with" ...
