Re: [epilepsy] Valproic acid

Hi all I have been on depakote or the generic drug for over 20 years and have found no difference between them. the reason i switched was my insurance company would not pay for depakote any more. I also have my blood tested every 3 months for over 20 years Bill Fisher

GOD BLESS you & keep you

Subject: [epilepsy] Valproic acid

I am wondering if anyone was given the generic form or Depakene known as Valproic Acid? Ten years ago a pharmacist gave it to me in place of Depakene wrongfully. I took sick and had severe reactions from it. I had emergency surgery five years ago from it. I am asking for some help with this information if anyone has heard of the drug?
Thank you,
Marty
