Hi Marty,

What was the specif reason you needed surgery?

Might it have been for a liver injury, pancreatitis and or abnormal bleeding? Those are the most serious side effects of valporic acid. I was on meds. which I had to take liver tests because of the side effects of meds. I was on. But different meds. I was on caused no problems for me.
