It has been a long time since I was on Depakote, but when I was on it it
didn't control my seizures very well. The pharmacist gave me the generic and
it did cause me some problems and more seizures. The doctors changed it back
to the brand name stuff.It never was that bad though. I have had problems
with generics in a lot of seizure medicine. I have been on Keppra for years
and the generic form of that caused me to have more seizures.Whatever I
start out on, that is what seems to work best for me. Take care.
