I certainly wouldn't casually dismiss the possibility. What does she feel like physically? I always know immediately upon waking that I had a GM sz because of the severe soreness, wet bed, bitten up mouth, severe headache, and fever, and after awhile, I usually remember having the aura. I also feel confused and sometimes emotional. If any of this sounds familiar, it probably was a GM sz. :(

Ok the last 2 mornings my daughter (17 yrs old) has gotten up and states
that she hit her head off the headboard thru the night. I noted excessive
drooling (wet pillow) and also she told me her panties are wet.
Could this b a Grand Mal or is there any other seizures that also has
drooling and bladder loss?
Yesterday she was with my Mom and she awoke and told Mom same thing and that
her head hurt really bad as did her side.
Any suggestions? I did check out Epi Ontario site and called her
Epileptologist (sp?) and left a message for the nurse to call me back.
She has a history of Atonic seizures (drop attacks) as a toddler. More
recent ones are Petit Mal (Absence) and Grand Mal ( 1 or 2 in past yr).
