Whole-Wheat Skillet Croutons - 19g Carbs, 1g Fiber

Forget the salty, greasy croutons from the store. Keep these around
for salads and soups.

4 slices whole-wheat country bread
1 clove garlic, crushed
3 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Pinch of thyme

1. Rub bread with garlic. Cube the bread.

2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bread cubes
and cook, stirring often, until crispy. Sprinkle with salt, pepper
and thyme.
