I think a "show of hands" thing would be a mistake. In general it's not a
good idea to ban people from things based on a vote.

Just let Jewl and Liz deal with it. Send them a private email if you want.
Personally I haven't been bothered by his recent messages; I've been
forwarding them to my wife and she loves them.
