Doris,
I have been swithched from brand name Lamictal to generic and also my Keppra brand to generic. I never had a problem with the change unless its just luck. I also had Keppra XR when I had my medicine packed from the move back to Colorado and never experienced any problem. Hope that helps.

I was wondering if others might have switched from regular Lamictal,
to the new Lamictal XR which only has to be taken once a day. I
doesn't matter what the level of mg is, but this is released in
different way so it is supposed to last 24 hours.
I presently take two Lamictal 200mg daily. I am apprehensive about
any change, but since there is cost reduction involved, I thought
I should look into it.
Has anyone tried this switch and how did it go?
Thanks for your time and your opinion on this.
Doris
