[fast5] Re: Question about lack of thirst

Hi, I'm new to the group. I noticed the lack to thirst too, I used to be a big water drinker,on IF I have to remind myself to drink water.

I seriously fell off the IF wagon nearly a month ago when a cold spell hit while I was doing a raw paleo IF WOE. First I stared eating cooked foods and then I moved to carbs, I swear it was the weather. I just did my first raw ish IF day yesterday and today I am fasting just fine. I'm guessing I needed to adjust to the cold.

I recently adopted this WOE partly out of convenience (don't really have time during the day to stop for meals) and partly as a weight control device - I am not trying to lose weight, just keep it stable. I found out about, and read, the Fast5 book about a week ago, after I'd been eating like this for a few days (was doing some research to make sure I wasn't damaging myself).

I am not troubled with hunger during the day until about 4-5pm, and even then it is easily tolerable. What concerns me though is my complete lack of thirst. I have a mug of water first thing to take some medication, and then seldom feel the need for anything more until just before I eat, when I'll have a pint of very diluted fruit juice. Then another mug of water later on with bedtime medication. That's it. I've read all about not going by thirst and how you're supposed to drink water all day long to keep hydrated and what have you, but I can't stomach drinks if I'm not thirsty.
