I like the leisurely meal idea, but am not at a point in my life where that is very practical for me. Someday.
I've only been fast-5 ing for 2 weeks and am not feeling compelled to overeat, even though I'm no saint or even very strong in self discipline.
I think it is because I don't start my window with a proper meal, but with some sort of low-carb [big] snack... a couple of eggs or some meat left over from the night before. Maybe I'll have cheese and nuts.
After that, I might eat a bit more with the family if we're together, or in a rush after getting home from some sort of evening meeting, but I honestly don't feel terribly compelled to eat. Its a miracle, really.
And give it time. Three days is nothing.
Good luck to you.
