According to the information I have found, this stem cell research is
for developing new CNS or brain tissue and is only being considered
to regenerate tissue in those epilepsy patients who have brain
surgery. Nothing is mentioned about it being a cure for epilepsy itself.

I looked at the Medra site and was not terribly impressed. A few case
studies, but no mention of actual clinical study results. It's all
anecdotal, and the site represents a money-making proposition that
would not be covered by anyone's insurance at this point, since the
therapy is not proven to work.
