Re: [epilepsy] Re: Having a Seizure While Driving

HI,

I have not drive in17 years but have been lucky to have a elderly and disabled door to door bus service.

I have been taking Lamictal for 13 years now. I  have  been on Triliptol before.

Lamictal makes me itch but I take 50mg of benadryl at night and I am fine, It stopped my big seizures so what is another two small pills.

Glad all is well. It is scary to think it may happen again. I can not give you advice on that as I stopped but I know others on the list still drive.

What is your life like? Busy-Active, Slow and Lazy?  Do you go a lot of places?

Work, Errands, Doctors, Clubs, Movies Ect.

Do you have extended family for rides?  Call your town hall and ask if they have a service like mine.
Mine is five bucks round trip anywhere I want to go in town.

Talk with you soon,

Jewl, TX

TG all is well - I was admitted to the hospital for testing and it was determined that I had a generalized seizure.  Has anyone tried Lamictal as my doctor wants to put me on that plus the Trileptol.  I heard it has vision prob side effects.  Thanks for your help!

I am afraid of driving again as I do NOT want this to happen ever again!  What if it does happen again and hurt someone...then what?  I do not want to hurt someone or go to jail if I hurt someone.
