I don't know as I found that the chiropractor helped with sz activity==
but it does calm the nerves and loosens muscles. My chiropractor
did mostly massage and not manipulation. He said his method
was called LIMO. There are different kinds of chiropractors.
I now get a massage every month instead-- which is pretty
much the same thing-- except he does deep muscle massage.
Without that I would probably be having headaches. My shoulders
are usually tight from the computer and I put trays into a dish washer
about 6-8 times a month.
I say that I don't hurt when I go in and I don't hurt when I leave but
he has got the most educated fingers -- and finds the tight muscles.
When I leave -- my muscles that he massaged are not tight anymore.
Some insurances pay for chiropractors and some don't. They don't pay
for massage. Or at least mine doesn't. But it keeps me active and
going at 79 with no pain except when he massages the muscles.
