[epilepsy] Re: New to the group...Newly diagnosed...Lots of questions..

 

Hi Jill,
Super interesting hearing your experiences. I had the left
temporal surgery about 11 years ago now. It completely stopped
all seizures during the day, however it was the start of nocturnal
ones, and they still occur at least twice a month. I am still on
drug, presently Lamictal. It was a super correct move getting the
surgery since it is so much better having complete control of daytime.
A biggie to me was getting driver license back which I lost ages ago
when all this started. Effort finding a doctor who is easy to relate to, as this is so important. Let us know how all goes.
