Yes the vns is an implant in the left clavical. I have had one since july of 05. I would be dead by now if I hadn't had it. I do not have auras, so my sd, which I got after the vns, detects 5-10 min before sz, so I can swipe and don't have the sz. I used to have 30 to 40 grand mals in a good year and 80-100 in a bad yr. Well Bruce and who ever else may have missed 60 minutes. The used a "NeuroPace" Device smaller than a Cellphone implanted in this womans Head and she had no more Seizures upto that date. She still feels something when one is about to hit but, the "NeuroPace" sends some kinda electrical pulse that helps stop seizures before they can happen. I know I've heard of VNS is that an Implant or what is it?
