I agree. I can not put Prince and Michael in competition with each other. They are both on top of their game. I, like you,am not a Michael fan but I do admire him and his ability and I liked his music. To me Prince and Michael are on different levels. Michael was an excellent singer, dancer and entertainer. Prince is the whole package singer, dancer, entertainer, musician, Prince plays almost every instrument you can name. He is also a poet, lyricist and teacher.And Prince is not excellent ,he is extraordinary.I can only give my opinion but to me they are on two different levels. Prince is not in competition with Michael, there is no need to compete.I just hope that Michael can now be at peace. God is the only One who can judge us and now Michael will face Him and if he did anything wrong that's who he will have to answer to.People and their judgments have caused undue amounts of stress in Michael's life and one day they to will answer for that.My prayer-Allah grant Michael paradise, hold him in Your arms and give him a well-deserved rest and long needed peace, Amin.

Some people just do not understand the POWER of music. Music is Life 4 me. I may have not been the biggest MJ fan but I respect him and his music and he was a misunderstood individual. I believe in being compassionate and I believe in empathizing. R.I.P. Mr. Michael J. Jackson ...

I am so saddened by this news. I heard it on my way home from work. I was stunned and shocked. Guys, this is just horrible. How utterly and horribly sad. I'm here at home and want to just cry watching the news now. One of our legendary icons is gone. I grew up with MJ and Prince and he's only 50....the same age as our Prince!! ...it's just sooo young!! ....I'm only 41 and that's just 9 years away!!! ...anyway, just wanted to come here and express my sadness...I know all of you guys, as well as Prince, wherever he is right now hearing this sad news, is affected by this and is feeling the emptiness to know that this man is no longer with us....life is so scarily short.

Bless you, Michael Jackson...you will always be remembered as the wonderful and talented performer you are....

It is being reported that Michael Jackson has passed away due to cardiac arrest this afternoon. He was 50 years old. Michael is survived by his three children, Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

TMZ is reporting Michael Jackson was rushed to the hospital at about 12:30 pm Pacific Time today. They are reporting that it was cardi ac arrest and that the paramedics had to administer CPR in the ambulance.

More info as we find out, check back for updates.

UDPATE: TMZ is now reporting that they spoke with Michael's dad, Joe Jackson. Joe is quoted saying, "he is not doing well."
