Re: [epilepsy] Drug Change and driver license

Doris,

When I first got the generic -- I was getting them by mail.

Then for a few years I was getting brand name Dilantin free from
Park/Davis. I was on a special program for people with little
money. I also got Evista for about $12 a month until Medicare D
came in with the generic. Medicare D. did me no favors.

That was during the time I had no szs for 4 years.

Those programs closed to me when Medicare D came in.

After Medicare D with the generic-- I had a sz and my Dr. then
changed me to the brand name.

I now pay full price for them for about 3 months each year until
I hit my deductible. Then Dilantin goes down to about $30 for
3 month and Evista is $ 25 a month. Full price is over $100 for
each of them.

I didn't know there was a difference until I got in this group --
so No -- it wasn't on my driver's license.

Millie

I am trying to find out if you change your type of drug, for example
