Hi Tammy
Ok I collected my cepra this evening, I am just looking on
google at the info about it but there is loads, not quite
sure of the best place but will probably ring a pharmacist
tomorrow. Yes I hope the cepra along with the tegretol
completely stops the minor seizures and the ongoing problems
I have on a day to day basis. I note your advice on staying
with the proper medications, I don't use generic because it
doesn't work as well for me with the tegretol so hopefully
it'll be the same with the cepra. Nice to hear from you.
Thanks for your tips and stay well.
Regards
Adrien

Adrien,
I haven't wrote much on here lately, but I read your letter
and thought I
would respond. I have been on the Keppra every since it came
out. It has
helped my seizures better than any other med has. I don't
think the generic
is as good as the brand name kind, but everybody doesn't
have that feeling
I know. I started out with the brand name and then had to
get the
generic. What ever you start with, stay with it. I have left
temporal
complex partial seizures. The Keppra cut the length of the
seizures and the
amount of seizures I had every month.I do have to take
antidepressants with
it, because of the mood swings. I don't take Tegretol
though. My other
seizure med is Vimpat. The Keppra also comes in Keppra XR,
which I am
on(1,000 mgs a day). I don't have to take as much as I did
the regular
Keppra. It helps with headaches I was getting after the
seizures when I
started it and still does. I hope this helps you and I hope
it works for
you. TC
Tammy
