Lynn,
Could she be afraid of having a sz at school.
Has she ever had one at school?
I think I would check with her Dr.

Subject: [epilepsy] Sick more often since diagnosis
I am concerned that my 15 year old daughter, recently diagnosed with Epilepsy seems to be complaning more often of being sick then she has ever done so before. She complains of her throat hurting, her stomach hurting, and sometimes does not want to go to school because she says she feels so bad. Today, she got up and complaine of her stomach hurting, being dizzy and her eyes being blurry...when I got home from where I had been, her head had that shake that it does sometimes when she is having a partial seizure. Hmmm...curious.
I also need to know if this is related to the epilepsy as she has gotten a failing grade in a high participation class due to being gone a lot...and I think they will have to amend that grade if this is an Epilepsy related issue...I can't tell if we have a psychosomatic issue going on or a real problem.
Thanks
Lynn
