talking as a parent, not a social worker, of a daughter, Dani, now almost
25yrs old who was diagnosed when she was 11. She went through much teasing,
bullying particularly in those earlier years after she was diagnosed. The
name calling was endless. she still hasn't worked through it. We tried
counseling and it wasn't helpful for her. She now has her own apartment
near my house and is on-line, but has decided at least for now not to
subscribe to this list because its too painful to be reading about EP issues
all the time. If I can help you off line feel free to email me and I'll call
you- I don't pay additional for long distance. -Tim Heller,Dani's Dad,
Lawrenceburg, IN.
Shes too private.
