| Hi, I have done the Master Cleanse (and about a million other things as well). And I did follow it to a T. My ideas on this would be that the MC is a fast in itself, and you would not need to combine it with Fast 5, since Fast 5 is a diet and or a lifestyle. Just do your cleanse, and then continue with Fast 5 at the end. You would probably need to be a little gentler when you break that fast, if I remember correctly there are instructions in the book. There is a lot of information on the web, and many people are successful with intermittent fasting combined with other things such as zero carb, low carb, raw food, etc. I myself love the freedom of the Fast 5, and although I have lost weight with other protocols, I always put it back on when I get tired of them, since it is not something I can live with. For now I am sticking with the basic Fast 5, and I am contemplating mixing it up a bit in a month or 2 for some faster weight loss. If Right now I am just so pleased with my results, slow as they are, and how good I feel and how easy it is to keep this up.
