I did it cold turkey. I did not find it difficult. However, people have
often said to me "I don't know how you do it" with regard to going
without food. I find I have two states: either a "fasting" state where I
find it easy to go without and then eat appropriately at the end of it,
or a "feasting" state where I am unable to stop eating all day ;) I have
swung between the two states throughout my adult life (not too good for
me). My problem definitely is that once I eat, I get hungry! So eating
breakfast makes me hungry all day. I struggled with trying to "eat
sensibly" (ie the three meals a day kind of eating). Then I read about
intermittent fasting and after I started doing that in a 22/2 pattern, I
read about Fast-5. Since I don't like snacking in the evening, I stuck
with 22/2 :)
