Ive read the FAQ page on plateaus. However, it seems to me that there isnt a very good explanation for why it happened in the first place. What's suggested is reducing calories, or increasing calories spent, etc... its an approach whereby doing MORE of it is better if results slow down or stop.
I feel it doesnt address the reason the plateau happened in the first place. I was hoping any of you might have a better explanation involving leptin levels, etc. Linked to this chain of thought is the idea that perhaps if the fast-5 diet were restructured with something like perhaps caloric cycling in mind, then perhaps plateaus could be avoided?

I was not doing anything different, but for the next 2 weeks or so, it seemed I was just maintaining at about 17% body fat,... down from about 19% body fat. Now to somebody who's trying to hit 10%, this is not good news.
