Diabetic Stir-Fry Sauces or Tofu Marinades

Number One:
3 tablespoons soy sauce -- or tamari
1 tablespoon wine -- or wine vinegar or beer
1 tablespoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon sesame oil -- optional

Number Two:
1/4 cup natural peanut butter
2 tablespoons soy sauce -- or tamari
1 tablespoon ketchup
1/4 cup water

Number Three:
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons salsa
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon soy sauce -- or tamari

Number Four:
1/3 cup soy sauce
4 tablespoons sugar -- or 6 pkg. artificial sweetener
2 teaspoons mustard powder
3 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon onion powder

Here are a few examples of quick and easy marinades to make you stir-fry
and other tofu entrees more flavorful. For each marinade, mix ingredients
well and spoon over cubed, crumbled, or sliced tofu. Each takes about 2
minutes to prepare.
