Ok thanks that sounds good, better than some, I will only be on a very small dose to work alongside my tegretol, will start it on Thursday after I have picked up the medication, have to get my other stuff at the same time. I will watch to see how it goes. Thanks. I already have the occasion irritable spells, down to my epilepsy, one of the symptoms I have, mood swings too, will bare your suggestions in mind. Thanks again. They are trying to completely stop the epilepsy but that will never happen, my tegretol is up to 1100 mg per day, they prescribe 1200 but I find that too much, I start feeling very bad on that amount, I take 600 am and 500 pm, that works for me.

Do you mean Keppra? If so, I have been on it for years...it really helps. You should take an anti-depressant too though, since it lowers your mood. Make sure you drink water, as it can cause kidney stones. The only problem I've had is tiredness and sonetimes I'm snippy...but only at high doses....I take 2500mg a day.
