I do grind my teeth, and sometimes during the day I'll find that I'm clenching them. I was on Lamictal a really long time ago. I wear a night guard, and I found that helps with the pain during the day, and eventually it will ease the clenching during the day. I had it made years ago by my dentist.

Subject: [epilepsy] Lamictal and teeth clenching
I clench my teeth a lot and have been taking Lamictal for around 11 years.
I never thought of a connection but I was reading online and found it as a side effect. Does anyone else have this as a side effect?
I don't clench my teeth in the night but do during the day so mouth gaurds aren't an option. Even when I wear them during the day when I am at home, they don't help.
Anyway, if anyone has some answers I would love to hear them. Even if it isn't from the Lamictal, if you clench your teeth and get headaches from it, let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks.
