[epilepsy] Re: Lack of 02

---In 1993 I was diagnoised with seizures caused by a blood clot to the brain from open heart surgery. I took meds for 12 years worked everyday with only one event and then all of a sudden said I was okay. Two years later I had 2 events which were thought to be a heart issued and I had a pacemaker installed. Since then I have had what are diagnoised as seizures but no reason can be found. They are short lived and the few times I have fallen I have never hit my head, MRI's in 97 prior to the pacemaker, and Cat scans since and EEG's have failed to show any problems. I know I am lucky compared to many of you but I have lived a very active life and at age 74 it is hard to adjust to a different life style. I have one every 4 are 5 months on the average since they started in 1997, they said they would put me in the hospital for a period of maybe 6 months if I wanted, so they might be able to see something on the EEG. I have even had one at the hospital while walking hallway but before they can do anything I'm okay. Even had one outside infront of a doctor. They last anywhere from a second to a minute or 2. I asked my neuro doc as pulmoniary test showed a significant drop in my 02 level after going up and down a flight of stairs That is the reason for my question about 02. I wanted to know if anyone else has had what might be the same problem
