My dh has totally turned around on this and i'm amazed and the kids don't notice either(now when things are cooked in CO). Dh has started cooking edverything for me and the kids with CO. i'm on cloud 9 over it! In fact, daily, i just keep thinking how I can't believe this! :) he was sooooo resistant before. :)
he loves to cook breakfast bowl type stuff on his day off (eggs, cheese, meat all cooked up in the skillet) and now he is cooking that in CO.
my last gallon bucket was Nutiva and that's what dh has been cooking in. i shared it with my mom so it didn't last anywhere close to a year i dont think, would have to try to look back online to see when i got it. a local gal found a deal for 12 bucks (including shipping) on the 54 ounce nutiva....I keep meaning to look it up to see if its still in operation.......since she was ordering and distributing i never saw the actual deal with my eyes although i think she gave me the link but had already ordered...... So my mom bought one of those excitedly and told me to let her know if i ever find any bulk deals on anything else she uses :).
The Nutiva and the Mountain Rose Herbs buckets I had tasted identical to me. Now that my husband is so keen on it though i'll probably never get anything but Nutiva just to make sure i dont risk him changing his mind :)
Keep in my mind that my dh has never liked the taste of coconut anything and that has rubbed off on my kids so all of them think they do not care for coconut......yet everyone is totally fine with the best oil now, in anything i've put it in.....and i put it in everything i make. gotta go get drew

Honestly, the best CO I had came from Wilderness Family Naturals but it was so expensive!!!
My kids SMELL me cooking with CO and refuse to eat.... :-/
