Lends a whole new meaning to the term "liquid diet!".
Actually once when I had mouth surgery and my jaw was wired shut I recovered on a diet of nothing but Guinness and ice cream. It was a long time ago, and I didn't have to drive, and I don't think I'd do it these days, but it certainly made the experience less painful. Oddly enough I lost weight during that time.

My friend is doing an intermitent fasting every other day. I don't know whether it's EODD or not. Apparently he thinks it's OK to take in liquid calories when he is fasting.
A couple nights ago, a bunch of us went out to get pizza. He came along; he said he couldn't have pizza, because he was fasting, but that he would have beer! We teased him at length about his "beer fast" and told him he should market it. He proceeded to get a bit drunk, needless to say. It seemed terribly unhealthy to me, and not fasting at all. One guy told him, beer has as many calories as bread. But my friend didn't seem to worry about it. I hope he doesn't do this all the time.
