I've completed the first 3 weeks on FF and I'm down 4 pounds! The
first week was a breeze. I found the 2nd week more challenging - some
days I was ravenous and binged when my window opened - other days it
didn't bother me at all. The 3rd week has gotten progressively easier.
I'm thrilled to have already lost some weight. After losing 2.5 lb in
week one, my weight started going up again, but it has settled back
down again the last two days.
When I started, I chose 1:30-5:30 as my window, thinking I could get
in a lunch and dinner, but I soon found that having lunch made me too
full for dinner. My window has naturally shifted to 3-8pm and it looks
like a snack to break my fast at 3:00, followed by dinner with my
husband around 6:00 will be the norm - although my schedule on some
days has required having my main meal at 3:00 with a snack later on,
and that has worked out fine, too. In fact, I kind of prefer having a
full meal when I break my fast, but my husband isn't too keen on
having dinner at 3pm.
I feel like I'm still transitioning into this WOE, but I'm really
liking it, and looking forward to seeing if I REALLY WILL continue to
lose a pound a week from here on out. If I do, I'll consider it a
small miracle to have finally found something that works for me and is
SO easy to do!
