I'd like to know if I could use Marijuana in hopes that it could reduce the frequency of my seizures.Everything I've read is saying that it maybe useful for children.Last month I became 57 years old, forty years ago seizures began, I'm no longer a child. Is it available for adults to try?

I myself wouldn't strictly care what's "allowed", but what you want to discuss and why you'd want to discuss it certainly matter to a lot of people.
Laws are in flux and changing rapidly in some cases, if you're speaking of strictly medical use.
What works for epilepsy appears to be an individual matter.
If you're, like, Maaaaan, looking for an excuse to spend your life being, like, stoned, then I would hope that isn't welcome here, but there are way too many critters like that in our culture, and sometimes they do manage to take over.
However marijuana does have some valid medical uses. If you are interested in something specific, bring it up.
Sanjay Gupta's latest try, an hour long special on CNN last night, discussed in great depth new strains of the plant that have been selectively bred so that they contain low amounts of the substance that makes people high, and high levels of the substance that can stop seizures in some people.
There is no guaranteeing whether something will work for you until you try it. If the stuff you're taking is working well and causing no problems I'd stick with it. It's amazing how much more effective and less problem causing the pharmaceutical specifically aimed at your problem and delivered in controlled doses often works. If nothing is working or you're having real problems with prescription meds than I'd give it a try. If you watch the CNN special, which you can more than likely find online, you'll get hints where and how to look for it.
