[epilepsy] RE: Medical Marijuana

Dora, I was diagnosed with epilepsy over 30 years ago. I am not a "stoner" nor layabout. I am a card carrying MMJ patient in a MMJ legal state. I have used it for many years and believe it has helped with my seizures. It is the stereotype attached to MMJ use that too many people have that I want to eliminate. I have worked, raised a family, done the same things, if not more, as everyone else. I know many people of all ages that have benefited from the various types of MMJ available. I take one seizure med, unlike others who have to take many. I don't have to deal with the multiple side effects of the poisons the Drs want to push. I remember a anti-marijuana commercial from the 80's that showed normal "rounded" brain waves flattened out with MJ use. In seizures, brainwaves spike. MMJ helps to flatten the spiking. There are many strains of MMJ that have different effects, not just "stoned", and can help many conditions.
