[epilepsy] Re: Question re working

Hi,
I read you situation. I have a dau Dani, now 27, who has had brain surgery and has VNS. She is totally disabled from her epilepsy.  She has tried and was not successful at trying to hold a job.  It is hard for her and for me that she will never be able to work like everyone else. She volunteers to give back something to the community. Even some of the volunteer ops have had their problems. She lives near by me in a nice subsidized housing bldg mostly for seniors.

I can't remember, but I think you mentioned you are in the US. If you want your son to work you will probably have to get Voc Rehab to help. They have job coaches and different services along this line.
