So what are the benefits of leaving in the apple seeds? Apple seeds
actually have a trace amount of cyanide. There isn't enough in one
apple to hurt you, but why make a habit of it?
Ironically, if you just ate the seed whole, it would pass just through.
It's nature's way of assisting in the reproduction of apple trees
dropping the seed in a pile of fertilizer far from the parent tree. But
if the seed is mashed up, as would happen in the blender, the cyanide is
released. So what's the plus side of this equation?
