Shawntee Bruyere Sometimes my daughter misses two days of school recovering from hers. She has seizures in her sleep most of the time. She takes Keppra. Most of them she can wake up without any affects from them but a few times it takes a few days. Hope you feel better soon.

Beannie Bugg Jennings I have Seizures! and When I was goin to school If i Would have one they would send me home for the rest of the day!! and I slept for a long time, by the next day, I was able to return to school, I'm thinking it just depends cause their is Many different types of Seizures, But I hope you feel better soon

Beannie Bugg Jennings and I Know what You Mean, The Remembering Part, I have A hard time with it Alot, I could be talking to someone about something if someone says something to me, I instantly forget what I was saying!!!

Daniel Roy my daughter, who is 8, has seizures only in her sleep also... she is also on Keppra and Trileptol... she actually had 2 the other night.. 1 when she first fell asleep... the other @ 3:30 am... her speech was slurred for about 30 minutes... then went back to sleep... was fine after that and woke up totally full of energy... but there have been seizures that took a couple of days before she was back to normal... it all depends on how tired you are and how long the seizure lasts... the longer the seizure... the more time it takes from what i've noticed. hope this helps and hope your Dr. is able to control them for you... god bless

HI...I'm  new and just had a seizure in my sleep on Sunday.  How long does it take to recover so that I can get back to work?  I'm on Trileptol and am waiting for my doctor ot call since 830 am and this is very scary as I'm new to this.  My last seizures occured in the hospital with someone monitoring me and now I am messed up big time and can't remember the last 3 days
 
I have complex partial seizures
