You should ask your doctor about it. It's different for all of us, depending on type of sz, length, and overall health. If you can't recall the past 3 days, you should get a full neuro eval first.

HI...I'm  new and just had a seizure in my sleep on Sunday.  How long does it take to recover so that I can get back to work?  I'm on Trileptol and am waiting for my doctor ot call since 830 am and this is very scary as I'm new to this.  My last seizures occured in the hospital with someone monitoring me and now I am messed up big time and can't remember the last 3 days
 
I have complex partial seizures
