Hi Rick! FOUR YEARS! Wow that is a real boost, reading that. I have a lot to lose; in fact I need to halve my weight even after the 20kg I already lost. But this seems like the real way to do it. I have somehow transformed the very way I look at food ... I have some potato chips on my shelf and a few beers in my fridge ... they have been there for days and I am not driven to indulge and they don't make me feel guilty when I see them! I love it.
I will look at the FB group. Thanks for the heads up about that! And the welcome.
Brenda
Hi Brenda! There's also a Facebook group that seems to be much more active than it has been here over the last few months.
It's true, FF really helps to keep the weight off once you've lost it. I see so many people lose weight using other methods, but it just seems to come back. I've been on FF for four years now (!!) and have been able to easily maintain single digit bodyfat, even through the holidays.
So, WELCOME!

Hi everyone. I just joined this group today, and it's my first day on FF. I am loving it so far and it makes such sense; I'm feeling really hopeful.
I was on Dukan from Oct '11 to Oct '12, and lost well, but have regained 10 kg since I fell off the wagon. Still 20 kg down all told, but I'm determined not to gain any more! here's hoping. I still have a lot to lose. However I have downloaded the e-book (have almost finished reading it) and am really keen to stick with this until I reach goal!
I have read the last few months messages here, and you lot look like a great crowd of buddies! I'll write again after I've seen some results :-)
