I wondered about that also. When I had grand mal seizures I didn't remember anything during that time. I had status epilepticus and I remembered hearing people talking in between seizures. I remember hearing the ambulance siren. I don't remember anything else. When you have a grand mal you are unconscious, so it is not possible to feel or know what it is like to experience a seizure while it is happening.
