[epilepsy] Re: Erin here

Hi Erin,
Hope things healing positive and fast for you. I can relate
to the feelings post-seizure too. My last one was Thursday
morning before waking. A silly of headache follows as I bet
it does with you too. I am given Lorazepam when seizures happen
since sometimes they repeat. That really knocks me out for the day.
I find it easy and helpful to use a plastic pill box. They
come with several sections and that indicates AM, PM. It is hard
sometimes when taking pills daily to recall them since you can
just recall doing that the day before.
Medicare is worth persuing for disability. I heard advertisement
about this on radio ages ago, and persued it. I got it and since
I lived in an area with no public buses or transporation, and of
course I did not have my license. This makes your actual Medicare
a lot higher when begin to collect at earlier age. Then
they just call it regular social security, however it's higher
according to how many increases you may have see over time with
the disability.
Take care and do keep us posted.
Sincerely, Doris
