I do not take Keppra, but I did switch from brand Tegretol to generic Tegretol, and have not had any difficulties. I do tend to be a bit sensitive to changes in medication, and this was a concern when we made this change, but all has gone well. I was in the same situation and was forced to change to the generic because of cost. Good luck in finding a new position.

I used to be on and still take generic keppra (as emergency add-on). I have never had a problem with it...but I don't have issues normally!
Remember-more than one company can make it, and it's just the dissolution rate and fillers that are different, but sometimes that's enough. Also, CVS may carry a different generic than Walgreen's, since multiple companies make them.
What state are you in? You should qualify for the PCIP plan in your state.
