Tammy,

The ICHIP (Illinois Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan) is a high risk pool that requires insurance companies to insure a certain amount of uninsurable people to buy health insurance. My brother in-law is in that program and he pays over $1,200 per month for this insurance. I have applied for this insurance but cannot afford it.
