Susan, This is interesting. While I have not been to a concert since
1990, I might play the same music at concert level, via my headphones.
When I do that for an extended period of time, I will get a minor headache.
As for driving, when I first thought about getting a drivers' license, I
was told I had to be 'seizure free'(non-physically obvious seizures are
harder to deal with). By the time I was given the approval by the
state, I had changed my mind. Because there are too many people on the
road that should not be driving. My own 71yr.-old mother was diagnosed
with Fuchs Dystrophy in 2011. One time in the car, she drove over a
concrete median when she was going to drop me off at a metro station.
Instead of driving, I go pretty everywhere on my bike(Specialized Allez'
road racing bike), instead of using public transportation. I will use
public transportation in inclement weather.
