Re: [epilepsy] Has anyone been denied life insurance due to having Epliepsy????

I live in Indiana. While I was working for the County I was insured--
but when I wasn't working for them anymore-- no insurance would
touch me with a 10 foot pole. I had very few szs-- and never ended
up in the hospital.

I was put in touch with a Christian group (don't remember the name--
and I don't know if they are still in business). Instead of paying the
company -- I paid $50 a month to a person.( It was $50 a person
and I was single.) I sent the $50 to the person's name they had
sent me that month and the next month I sent $50 to another person..

During this time I had a breast biopsy and I handed the cost to
the company. I started getting money in the mail each month
from different people -- along with notes -- wishing me well. If
I remember correctly -- I was paid $1,000. That must have been
over 20 years ago. I was with them until I was 65 and could go
on Medicare.

Subject: [epilepsy] Has anyone been denied life insurance due to having Epliepsy????

I'm In Ma. State. My wife works for a school. She hadto put me on her medical insurance due to our Gov. taking things away from us disabled people. She tried to add me to her life insurance plan. Minnesota LifeInsurance Co. . They turned me down only due to ahveing the seizures. So i am wondering if anyone else ahd this happen due to only having the seizure disorder. I also donot work due to sight loss too.
