Just as an FYI, it's just not epilepsy that you can be denied life insurance for--it's really any medical condition. I have life insurance, but if something happens to me, you better believe the company will try to prove the seizures caused it. That way they don't have to pay out. This is a standard practice.

I was turned down because of my epilepsy.It was my exhusbands' from his work.so we had to go bankrupt when we had our child.lost our home and car.

Marty,
I was turned down for insurance years ago. It wasn't whether I had seizures
or not, but the kinds of medicine I was on. They did a swab test on my
mouth, and when they got the results back said I was not eligible for their
life insurance. I got it from a different company though. They must of
thought I was a dope head or something. I know it must be hard to get
though. Take care.
